FBM Capital LLC is a boutique investment firm that manages individual client accounts using proprietary trading strategies based on advanced data science, quant algorithms, and sentiment models. It is a member of the National Futures Association and is registered as a Commodity Trading Advisor.
PRINCIPALS
Maria Jose Navarro
President and Chief Compliance Officer of FBM Capital LLC. She also holds the role of Managing Director at Bay M Advisors, a registered investment advisor based in the British Virgin Islands. Prior to her current positions, Maria Jose provided consulting services for family offices and held a Directorship at Creative Research Inc., a hedge fund registered with the Cayman Island Monetary Authority. Her career in private banking began as Head of the Latin American desk at Credit Suisse Nassau. Maria Jose holds a BS in International Business and a BA in International Studies from Bradley University.
Andres Navarro
Vice-President of FBM Capital LLC. Mr. Navarro previously worked as Head Trader at Golden Compass Financial Markets, a Panama based investment fund from 2009 to 2021. During this time he managed several systems based proprietary strategies involving hedging futures and options as well as equities. During this time, he also served as a derivatives trading consultant for Bay M Advisors Ltd. a BVI registered investment advisor. Mr. Navarro received a B.A. in Business Administration from Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Quito, Ecuador.

Ms. Miree Kim
Manager of FBM Capital LLC. She is the founding partner of Law Office of Miree Kim PLLC, a New York-based law practice since August 2014. Ms. Kim specializes in international estate and trust planning, cross border transactions and tax law. Ms. Kim worked as an attorney at Loeb Block & Partners LLP, a New York-based boutique law firm from May 2007 to July 2014. Ms. Kim was admitted to the New York State Bar in April 2004. During the period from October 2003 to April 2007, Ms. Kim worked as an attorney at the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP with a focus on private equity fund formation. Ms. Kim received a B.A. in Psychology from Boston College in May 1998, a J.D. from Boston College Law School in May 2003, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in May 2011. Ms. Kim has been serving as a director and officer of private trusts, family holding companies and family officers and as a chairman of a New York City based hedge fund since August 2013. Ms. Kim serves on the board of directors of Friends of Fundacion Hogar Integral, Inc., a not-for-profit organization providing basic care and education to children between ages two (2) and six (6) living in extreme poverty in southern Bogota, Colombia.
